The catalogue is a vital marketing tool for S&S Services which allows them to communicate directly with their target market throughout the entire year.

Our task with the latest issue was to produce a catalogue that would encourage early years education professionals to choose S&S as their supplier of choice over and above many of the larger national purchasing groups.

Picking up a catalogue is one thing, but actually using it
and ordering is another matter …

• It had to stand out, so we moved away from the traditional boxy catalogue style into a free flowing layout that we have proved to be successful in this market.
  
• Particular care has been taken into logical product grouping, with 112 pages and hundreds of products, this was vital.
  
• Above all, the products have to be shown off at their best by taking good product photographs. We even have to use some of the craft products so they can be demonstrated properly pictorially.

This is always a popular project, we all like to act like children sometimes, and having to colour in cards like a 5 year old can be quite a challenge!

At ashine we always like to have fun when coming up with themes for marketing communications but we always have to ensure that we understand our clients business and what they are setting out to achieve.
